About Panorama Runner

Hi! Welcome to panorama runner. The main purpose of this blog is to show how through dedication, anyone can become a "runner," run a long distance race, or lead a more active life. I really believe that running (or hiking/walking) a little bit each week can change your life for the better.

I have never been a "typical" athlete, and it has been a struggle for me to to gain speed and endurance. The work has been been worth it though. Running has taken me places I would not have seen otherwise!

Feel free to contact me at panoramarunner@gmail.com with any questions or comments (especially about anything running related!).

About Staci

I have lived in Washington State all my life. I have moved a bunch, from Western to Central to Eastern Washington, but always remained in the same beautiful state. I absolutely love the Pacific Northwest and would be completely happy to live here the rest of my life.

I graduated from Gonzaga University in 2012. I was initially a Journalism major but switched to Biology my sophomore year. Despite the change in major, I still love to write.

I met my husband at orientation at Washington State University in 2013 during my first week of graduate school. In all honesty, he is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

Me and my husband, both receiving MS degrees

I started running in 2012. I had a lot of free-time and extra energy after graduating from Gonzaga. Running has been a great way for me to de-stress and stay healthy. Since, I have run 2 marathons and 12 half marathons.

When I'm not running or being a scientist, I like to read (fiction), drink lots of coffee, hike, camp, bake treats and spend time with my family, including my beautiful cat Razzy.
